Jonathan Cohen

Jonathan is a Building Scientist with a master’s degree in Building Science and a background in building envelope consulting, 10 years in luxury home construction, and environmental testing. He previously operated an environmental testing company in Toronto, Canada before founding House of Thyme.

As a licensed Mold Assessment Consultant, Jonathan combines his technical education with practical construction experience to investigate the home as a complete system, giving homeowners a clear understanding of the problem and what needs to happen next.

Sara Feldstein

Co-founder · Marketing & Client Experience

Sara is a CPA turned entrepreneur with a background in building businesses, leading operations, and marketing. Before co-founding House of Thyme, she founded and sold a toy business and helped grow an air purification company. She brings that experience to making House of Thyme’s service thoughtful, clear, and well organized.

When you call House of Thyme, Sara is the person you’ll speak with. She’ll listen to your concerns, explain the assessment options, and help you understand what to expect.

Adrian Garcia

Mold Assessment Consultant

A Texas native, Adrian brings seven years of restoration & remediation experience. He rose from field technician to estimator and project manager, handling mold, fire, odor, and specialty losses, and built a mold division from the ground up. His large-scale work includes federal contracts covering military barracks, housing, and mechanical facilities, along with the high-volume restoration response to Austin's 2021 winter storm.

He has also run individual residential and commercial jobs on his own, from scoping through closeout. Adrian is a TDLR-licensed Mold Assessment Consultant and Mold Remediation Worker, and he holds IICRC WRT and OSHA 10/30 certifications.
